We continue to prepare for a major European tour, scheduled for next year. But some of our fans in Germany will be able to meet MED Heads at the end of this month. Welcome to the concerts in Berlin, Dresden, Leipzig!
The most interesting during the summer 2011: First we had the honor to take part in two events of national importance - is celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Constitution and the 20th anniversary of Independence of Ukraine. Both concerts were held at Independence Square and were broadcast on television. On these special occasions we had the pleasure to introduce our new song "UKRAINE - SO WE". We were also fortunate this year to attend the celebration of the independence of the United States since July 4, we were in New York. Before we played at the festival "HOPE IS", organized by the Ukrainian Youth Association. It was an unforgettable concert in the picturesque mountain nature in a hundred miles from New York, in CYM , which gathered several thousand extremely grateful listeners, mainly Ukrainian Americans who stubbornly danced and sang along with us our songs. Festival "Hope Is" this year was the first time, which is not true of 45-year old CANADIAN NATIONAL UKRAINIAN FESTIVAL Dafin in town, the Canadian province of Manitoba, we also headed this summer. In addition to overseas festivals, we visited the European SAZAVA FESTIVAL - one of the biggest musical events in the Czech Republic, where, besides his own songs, singing local super hit "Yozhyn with Bazhyn" in ska punk treatment, which was the culmination of our performance and the audience really liked it - all sang together. Already have an invitation from other Czech festivals next year.

goes to broadcasting. This will be the song "OI MAMO LIUBLIU GRYTSIA", and you
can listen to it since 17 July on radio stations all over Ukraine.

June 28 we take part in a concert dedicated to the 15th anniversary of Constitution of Ukraine, which will take place at Maidan Nezalezhnosti in Kyiv. At the concert, we will present our new song "Ukraina - tse my" ("Ukraine is us").
We begin active touring internationally. May 28 we play in Poland, at UKRAINIAN CULTURE DAYS, July 3 - at the festival NADIYA YE in the U.S. which has been named after our song, and July 31 we perform at CANADA'S NATIONAL UKRAINIAN FESTIVAL. While all three events mentioned above are fully dedicated to Ukrainian culture, in August we visit the festivals, where we will be the only representatives of it - SAZAVA FESTIVAL in the Czech Republic and CERVENIK FESTIVAL in Slovakia. In Kiev, we plan only one Summer concert so far - presentation of the album "UkrainSKA" June 16 in the Crystal Hall, wich will be crazy Ukrainian-Balkan party. Details are in "Concerts" section.
‘Echte Ubersee Records Vol. 5’ - is the name for a brand new ska punk compilation, recently released in Germany. 23 bands from 15 countries all over the world - Europe, both Americas and even Africa. The representatives of Eastern Europe are MAD HEADS XL with "Dubky" song.
The concerts on 15 May in Lutsk and on 16 May in Kovel are cancelled by
the local promoter. We are very sorry about this and apologize to
everybody who was going to visit thise concerts.

We have temporarily turned into a quartet. Our trombone player Valeriy Chesnokov has spend over a week in hospital and in the meantime trumpet man Vadym Nikitan literally blowing his guts out in doubbled force. Exclusive concerts with such line up happened on March 4 in Zhytomyr's Golden Gate Club and 5 th in Kiev's Docker Pub. The next concert on March 12 we will also play foursome, then again Valeriy will join us on stage.
